landscape architect wins on popular HGTV's “Landscaper's Challenge”
Easter morning.
Home & Garden TV's new Easter episode titled “Barbeque Haven”
features the creative landscape styling of Kerry Burt & Associates
of Plano, TX.
Dallas, TX, March 19, 2008: The artistic designs of local landscape
architectural firm Kerry Burt & Associates will be featured
on HGTV's popular “Landscaper's Challenge” series Easter Sunday
morning at 8:30 a.m. CDT. This episode of the popular cable series
is titled “Barbeque Haven” and pits three talented landscape architects
against one another with the goal of being selected to create
and install an elaborate landscape design for local home owners

In “Barbeque Haven” the challenge was
to design an outdoor entertaining area with multiple features
on a home site that like many home sites in the Dallas area was
flat as a pancake.
*** Utilizing a Texas Hill Country theme Kerry
Burt & Associates met the challenge of creating multiple levels
of artistic landscape with flowering shrubs, perennials and trees
that highlighted a new covered patio and bar area.
During filming of the episode, Kerry Burt stated, “My approach
to design creates an artistic garden, not just filler landscaping.
I begin with a detailed analysis of the site and then combine
the creative interests and tastes of the home owner with the necessary
functionality. We create beautiful, healthy environments that
are very livable.”
Kerry Burt is a registered landscape architect in the state of
Texas, a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects
and a 1994 graduate of The Department of Landscape Architecture
at Mississippi State University.
